Yahoo! An all around good internet
directory, you will most likely find what
you are looking for here. It is good to
know what category your topic fits into
before you start.

Question: What is a link? Answer: I'm glad you asked. A link is almost 90% of the time a word that is underlined. If you put your mouse over this underlined word, it usually turns into a finger pointer. That means you can click on that word, and it will take you somewhere. Question: I'm lost! Even though that's not a question, here are some tips to help you if you do get lost! 1.) If you want to go back, use the BACK button on the top of Netscape. 2.) If your completely lost and need to start over, press the HOME button located on the same row of buttons as the BACK button. The HOME button will take you back to this page. Question: I typed in what i'm looking for in the search text box, and then I pressed SEARCH. It loaded up another page. Now what? It looks confusing doesn't it? It's unfortunate there are so many ads and other things to set you off track. But there is not much anyone can do about that. What you need to do is scroll down and find the underlined words that have some relevance to the topic you just looked up. Click on those topics and hope it has what you are looking for. If it doesn't, press the BACK button and try again. Question: My mouse froze! or Netscape closed itself! Welcome to Crashsville! Population: YOU! This is not abnormal for the lab computers to crash while using Netscape, for they are old, old machines. Just raise your hand, and someone will assist you. |
